Anyway, I went shopping with my mum the other day and got loads of awesome stuff.

Another loose top from H&M with a zipper detail in the neck which I really love.

Baggy shorts also from H&M. These will probably be a favourite this summer since they're really comfy.

cupcakes!!

Oh god, I'm such a horrible blogger lmao. I've been planning to blog about mothers day...but I never got the time, so I'm just gonna upload some photos of the awesome cupcakes I made for the best mum in the entire world; my mum.

This was the first time ever I've tried making anything with buttercream, but I'm pleased about the outcome. I wasn't so fond of the cream myself, but everyone else seemed to love it though. Next time however, I'm not using food coloring, since it seemed like it left bit of a aftertaste.

For the cream, I used a recipe that my mum uses for her (amazing!) carrotcake. It's simply just on part cream cheese, one part butter and then powdered sugar until you get the sweetness you want. Since I learned my lesson on food coloring, I'm gonna hunt down some powder color for later.

I cheated with the actual cupcakes, and got one of these 'only add water' packs since I had no time making them from scratch. Added some chopped chocolate and some spoonfulls of coffee for extra taste. Yummeh yummeh in my tummeh~

Makeup in my heart

Last week I got some new makeup from MAC. Any pictures I've tried to take just come out like crap, but these I got from http://www.maccosmetics.com/ isn't much better I admit.

The two I bought are called 'Amber Lights' and 'Goldrush.' I haven't had the opportunity to really try them out properly, but the 'Amber Lights' one is brighter, and reminds me a more of a copper color.

Also, I really thought I was lucky to get the last 15-slot color palette they had, until I got home and saw that I had been given a blush palette instead. I guess the sizes are pretty similar. So now I have to wait at least 2 more weeks for the new ones to arrive.

I also got this awesome fake leather jacket for like...$26!!! gonna try get a picture later, I haven't had the chance to wear it yet since the weather has been crappy for nearly a month >.>

LOTUS SINGLE

Their new single seriously just blows my mind beautifully. I LOVE it now, although I was a bit...meh... it the start. In the beginning, I reminded me too much of Hageshisa, but the more I listen to it, the more I feel that that's not the case. I've been listening to it non-stop since I got the single and I gotta say, Obscure has really grown on me as well. Still, I gotta say that the original Obscure will forever have a special place in my heart.

I love that the band continuously strive to surpass themselves, and redoes songs they are unhappy with/could improve instead of just letting them be and let them be forgotten. I feel like they shouldn't have messed with Obscure in the first place, since the new version have lost some of the darkness in it. Then again, the new version is more like a whole new song, and the new sound fits perfect as a follow up song to LOTUS.

As I type this, I'm watching the PV for the first time although I got the version with the DVD, and for almost a week ago. I'm such a bad fan LMAO. I haven't made up an opinion on the PV yet, other than that I want to rub Kyos' stubblehead LOL. But IDK, PV's don't excite me as much as it did before, I guess I'm focusing more on the music than the visuals.

...wow, that probably didn't make sense at all lol. Anyways, I strongly recommend you guys to listen to it.

I know I haven't updated for like...nearly 3 months. And really, I have no excuses. However, I have been fairly busy with school, travels and work.

I went to Tokyo around Christmas with three good friends of mine, and it was amazing. I promise to make an entry about that, as well as a separate one with what I bought over there. We had so much fun, but also a couple of downers as well.

Also, I'm really nervous about the Couture Gals meetup in Oslo in March. All these amazing gals are coming and I'm so afraid I'm gonna be completely out-of-place there. I've never really met any of these people, and the one girl I did know might not make it there at all. Still, I've bought planetickets, and rsvp'd to the meetup events, so I'm not gonna back down now. I might not be as cool, pretty and 'gal' as some of the girls there, but it's a learning experience and hopefully, I'll be able to make friends with some of them.

Life goes on...

I don't know when I will resume doing the music meme, but it will probably be some more days. Friday I had to put down one of my cats, and I'm going through a difficult time dealing with it. He was my baby, I grew up with him and it's hard knowing that he won't stand outside the door in the morning or after I get home from school. Never more roll around in my bed and top of me, forcing me to sleep in uncomfortable positions.

He was old, over 14 years. The vet told us that he wou

ldn't have lived for this long unless he'd gotten this kind of love and care, but in the end it was the desease that killed him. He was so thin, even though he got medicines, they seemed to stop working, and he stopped putting on weight, he was constantly hungry, tired and just not what he used to be. Still, if he hadn't gotten that desease, I am certain that he would still be running around.

We buried him yesterday, and I barely had the light to see him for the last time, it looked like he was sleeping, and that sort of...I don't know...calmed me?

I will always miss him, I loved him.

Day 05 - A song that reminds you of someone

This song remind me of some of my best friends and the amazing time we had in Japan, summer of 2010. Whilst there, this song was played over and over again outside our local Starbucks where we could spend hours a day. This song brings back so many memories, both good and bad of the people there.

Hanakotoba by The GazettE. This song is so dear to me. The way Rukis voice sounds so raw and honest gives me goosebumps each and every time I listen to it. I think my biggest wish for Tokyo Dome is to hear this song.
